Tetradium / Bee Bee tree from seed?
Does anyone have experience growing Tetradium or Bee Bee trees from seed?
Specifically I am trying to decide on direct sowing multiple seeds in the location where I would like one tree to grow or to start the seeds in pots and then transplant. Thank you

Dutch White Clover
I have seeded about four acres with Dutch White Clover in the fall and again this spring. When bees can forage for miles, does planting a few acres of clover help a small apiary? How large of an area of clover would make a noticeable difference to three to five hives?

Re: Flat Bottom Board used with Top Entrance

Record Rainfall and Honey Production
I am a second year beekeeper in NE Oklahoma. This is the wettest May I can remember with rain 5-6 days each week. While I know that the bees forage less in the rain, is there anything to the claim that rain washes out the nectar? Should we expect a good honey year from the additional rain or are we ...

Re: Bottom Boards - Screened or Solid
If a solid bottom board encourages convection currents in the hive and increases evaporation, does a solid bottom board reduce the temperature inside the hive?

Re: Bottom Boards - Screened or Solid
Can someone elaborate on the "hive as a condenser thought process"?
Also, how does using a solid bottom board make honey evaporate quicker?
