Estimated Honey

Postby Pierce » Mon Jun 20, 2016 5:53 pm

Today this morning I had my mentor come over and check my hives(unfortunately he treats). He told me i should put 1 or 2 supers on each hive which I did. He said i should get 30 - 40 pounds per hive and i have 5 hives on my second year. I am going to have so much honey this year!

I wouldn't expect much the first year. And hi and welcome to the forum Hanna. Are you treatment free in New Zealand? :o Aren't you afraid of being exiled? ;)
