Moving a colony with a virgin queen

I have a colony with a virgin queen that I have seen. Is it safe to assume that once she starts laying that mating flights are complete? The reason I ask is that I need to move the colony and I don't want to move it until she's done mating. Thanks.

I say so.
If she is laying and stable at that - move normally as needed.
