Crummy Spring

Postby Peter Montague » Wed May 10, 2017 10:55 pm

Things looked great early this spring then the rain started and spoiled the rest of the maple flow. Now I haven't seen a single bee on the dandelions, hope it picks up soon. How's the rest of New England been?

I don't know about new england but northern illinois has been awful. Hardly any days for the bees to fly and almost no decent days for inspections.

Been bad in Upper Midwest (WI).
If bees still don't mind dry sugar in May, it cannot be good.
