This is a great little free book from the inimitable Sam Comfort of Anarchy Apiaries.
There was another little pocketbook edition of his almanac from 2012, but the 2010 version is a fantastic sprawling poetic journey through Sam's personal experience with bees - starting as a memoir of his time with a commercial beekeeping outfit to his gradual revelations about small cell beekeeping, top bars and taking a natural approach. The book is peppered with line drawings, poems, good-natured rants and a lot of precious common sense.
If anything, it reminded me most of Woody Guthrie's "Bound for Glory", but if the narrator was a beekeeper rather than a dustbowl balladeer.
