First swarm caught after recently moved

You have just gotten your bees, either in the mail or you have gone and picked them up in person. Now what do you do? Covers from installation in your hive until the end of the first winter and the first blooms of spring.

First swarm caught after recently moved

New state, new bees. 9, 1 1/4" frames in 8 frame equipment from a swarm trap. These pics are from a 27 day old catch. Didn't see the queen but only pulled the outside 3 or 4 frames. Foundationless and perfectly straight. They swarmed in the middle of berry flow and now clover everywhere.

Very nice fotos, are they Italian bees? Hope they continue to build up well for you.
