Lander,Wyoming, tell me were you are from!

Postby DeeBee » Mon May 25, 2015 2:48 am

2nd year beekeeper lost both of my hives last year. Combined them in July ended the season with 2 full deeps with winter stores. The queen died in January and March few bees left, checked warmest day in mid March the bees I was seeing were robbing, all my bees were on the bottom and some in very small clusters dead with their bottoms sticking out. 2015 May installed 2, 3#pkgs. Do alright but been raining here for 2 weeks, girls slow mode

Raining also a lot here in Denver. I heard that we've had two days of no rain in the last month or so. As of today, we are 3.57 inches ahead of the normal on rainfall. Haven't really been able to do much with the bees and here it is, the end of May.
